CH2M HILL C&IS Expands Managed IT Services by Opening Additional Data Center Facility

Denver, November 7, 2006 – CH2M HILL’s Managed Services line of business, a global provider of end-to-end IT management solutions, today announced as a result of exponential business growth, the opening of a new data center facility in Greenwood Village, CO.  CH2M HILL will initially occupy 5,000 square-feet of space in the Denver Triad Buildings located at 5680 Greenwood Plaza Blvd. Under the agreement, the data center has the option to expand to a total 20,000 square-feet.

The acquisition of the new data center space allows CH2M HILL to expand their operations beyond their global data centers located at CH2M HILL’s corporate headquarters, the Managed Services headquarters in Greenwood Village, as well as national data centers located in Atlanta, GA and Idaho Falls, ID. 

CH2M HILL will leverage their new global data center to increase the company’s capability in supporting and managing its customers’ IT systems.  This includes the management and hosting of customer systems such as:
   •  Managed platform: server and network management 
   •  Managed application hosting
   •  Disaster recovery/ business continuity
   •  ERP software hosting and management 
   •  Voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) phone systems
   •  Collocation
